Essence

VOOD does plant-based, with taste. They're a new food delivery service that's rocking the subscription market with a unique product to an increasingly environmentally-aware audience. Having an extensive and successful background in hospitality, VOOD's vegan meals are designed by top Australian chefs. With a strong brand already in place, they came to us wanting help creating a launch campaign. People needed to become intrigued about the brand, and the media we produced had to excite this audience enough to convert them directly into subscriptions. Creative, meet ROI.

Approach

Our strategy focused on not limiting the initial audience to vegans (why cap your market smaller than it has to be?). There's a solid evidence-base to support all of us subbing in some vegan meals to our weekly diet. Given the social media focus to the strategy, video was the obvious primary format for maximum attentional currency, with a strong storytelling component woven through the pieces to help potential customers self-identify, and laugh. Hits of motion-graphics help to build early brand familiarity in a campaign that nailed the brief to a tee.
